Beneteau Success, Melbourne Boat Show 2018

Sundance successfully presented an impressive selection of Beneteau Inboard and Outboard powerboats at this years Melbourne Boat Show.

Headlining the display was the Beneteau Antares 36.  Its obvious suitablilty for family cruising was demonstrated by the number of families looking at her over the weekend. Comments such as ‘she’s so spacious for 36 feet’ and ‘great cabin space’ were frequently heard.

The Barracuda models on display also proved very popular with the fishing crew. With a Barracuda 8 and the smaller Barracuda 6 sold at the show, there’s going to be plenty of snapper caught from Beneteau’s this season.

Models shown included the Barracuda 7 and Barracuda 8. Setup for fishing with a fantastic enclosed cabin offering protection from the elements – they proved very popular with visitors to the show.

The outboard Antares range was also popular with couples looking for a short coastal cruising option. Its versatility for Port Phillip Bay, Tasmania and their surrounding waterways saw her attract new owners from both Tasmania and Victoria.

The Antares 7 and Antares 8 sat alongside each other and showed the great opportunity for for a variety of uses across Victoria and Tasmania.

While many of these Beneteau models are trailable, the popularity of stacker sheds was also evident at the show with several cusotmers planning on using them for their boats.
